Why I Created LazyMomGoals.com

Hi, I’m Nadiah Nazri, a mom of three amazing (and very energetic) kids—two girls and a boy, ages 3, 7, and 10. Life as a mom is a beautiful chaos, but balancing it with a career? That’s where things got tricky.

I used to work as a medical doctor, dedicating long hours to my patients. But as my kids grew, I realized they needed me just as much as my patients did—maybe even more. I didn’t want to miss out on their childhood, the little moments, the big milestones, and simply being there when they needed a hug. So, I made the tough decision to step away from full-time medicine and rethink my path.

That’s when I discovered the world of remote work. I pivoted into SEO content writing, web design, and digital marketing—skills that allowed me to work from home and still be present for my kids. At the same time, I continued freelancing as a doctor at my friend’s clinic to keep my license active.

But here’s the thing—being a work-from-home mom comes with its own set of struggles. The guilt, the exhaustion, the constant juggle of deadlines and diaper changes—it’s overwhelming! That’s why I created LazyMomGoals.com. Not because moms are lazy (far from it!), but because I wanted to help other moms find ways to thrive—mentally, physically, and emotionally—without burning out.
